I can’t seem to log in. What should I do?

Please ensure that you are using the correct username and password. You should receive your username and password in a welcome email either when you first register, or when your courses first become available.

Login information is case-sensitive. Try copying and pasting the username and password to ensure accuracy.

If we have your Law Society of Alberta roll number on file, your username is probably your roll number. Otherwise, your username is an assigned alpha-numeric customer identification number issued by the Legal Education Society of Alberta.

If you have forgotten your password, click the “Forgotten your username or password?” link. If you enter your username or email address, you will be emailed instructions to complete a password change.

If you are still experiencing difficulties, please email us at info@lesa.org.

I am taking a course in which the questions are not supposed to count. Why did a grade display?

To help facilitate and enrich the learning experience, our courses usually include interactive questions. Because of the course structure, the responses to these questions are automatically graded. However, unless you are advised otherwise, how you answer these questions is irrelevant to the outcome of the course. If you see a score given at the end of a non-graded course, you can simply disregard it.

I was taking a lesson, but an image did not load. What should I do?

The images in the lessons are simply icons and do not contain content critical to the outcome of the course. You can continue on through the course, even if such image files do not display.

Can I get a hard copy version of a course?

Unfortunately, no. These courses--which include video, links, and interactive questions--are designed to be delivered in an online format. A "paper" version is not available, but the available PDF files are downloadable for future use.
